Have you ever heard the expression that if you want something done, you ask a busy person? It's absolutely true! The busier a person is, the more efficient they are at getting things done. There's no time to mess around - you become a lean, mean, list making machine! And some of the busiest people I know are small business owners. But even these productive people need a little help with organization and these 4 apps can help you keep on task.
Trello - the dream app for anyone who loves lists! You can make lists, reorganize lists, attache documents and photos to list items, share lists with other team members. Who doesn't love lists? Perfect for anyone who volunteers and has to coordinate a lot of activities with different people - like coaches, condo board members, committee chairs.
Evernote - the one-stop-shop app for all business people, entrepreneurs, and folks on the go. It coordinates your calendar, your work files, your notes, your photos, your documents all in one place. One especially nice feature is that it allows you to bookmark online articles to save and read offline at a later time. This app is especially great for anyone who travels for work.
Last Pass - the perfect password organizer. It securely stores and organizes all your user names and password information and automatically applies them when you go to log in to an account. As well, you can grant access to your social media accounts to an assistant or colleague without actually giving them your password. Last Pass acts as a secure intermediary and you can revoke access at any time (without having a create a new password.)
Toggl - to keep you on track. Like a combination of a stopwatch and a time sheet, this is great for entrepreneurs who need to keep track of billable hours for different projects with multiple clients. But it's also helpful for tracking your work on any project- how much time the kids devote to homework, or how long you'll give yourself to read.
